St Pauls Cricket Club was formed in 1962/63 by the local church and played the majority of their early cricket at Freeway Reserve in Mulgrave and Jack Edwards Reserve in Oakleigh before settling at Batesford Reserve in the late 1970s.
For a brief period between 2007/08 and 2014/15 the club called Southern Reserve in Mulgrave their home ground however to better integrate the junior and senior programs the club moved back to Batesford Reserve as of the 2015/16 season. The junior club and the clubs 3rd XI and 4th XI play their cricket at Batesford, whilst the 1st XI, 2nd XI will continue to play their cricket at Southern Reserve. In 2016/17 the club launched a 5th XI and they play their home games at Gladeswood Reserve. The club has enjoyed a rich history of success, and since launching their junior program in 1994/95 have gone from strength to strength.
With a strong standing in the Eastern Cricket Association and a great understanding of the community, St Pauls have provided a fun, safe, socially-conscious and family friendly environment to enjoy the great sport of cricket for over 50 years.
The club celebrated their 50th year in season 2012/13, and after recent 1st XI premiership success, back-to-back 2nd XI premierships and the U15s collecting the Ray Cleary Shield in 2016/17, the club continues to go from strength to strength.
St Pauls is now the second-largest synthetic cricket club in the City of Monash and the largest synthetic cricket club in the local area (there are 9 cricket clubs within a 4km radius).
It is a great time to become a part of St Pauls Cricket Club.
